KL International Airport
The KL International Airport (KLIA) is located 75 km south of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre. It is an hour drive by direct motorway link or 28 minutes on the KLIA Express Rail Link. KLIA is currently served by 47 airlines operating to and from over 100 scheduled destinations. Direct and mid to long haul access is provided to five Australian and five Middle East cities, seven North American and African cities and nine European cities plus the Asian regional and domestic network.
From KLIA to Kuala Lumpur

KLIA Express
KLIA Express is an express service that exclusively serves travellers between KLIA and Kuala Lumpur. The journey takes 28 minutes one way and terminates at KL Sentral, the nation's main rail transportation hub. A one-way adult ticket costs RM35.
KLIA Ekspress trains run every
- 15 minutes during peak hours: 5:00-9:00 and 16:20-22:00
- 20 minutes during off-peak hours: 9:00-16:00 and 22:00-00:00

Airport Taxis
Airport Limo (M) Sdn Bhd offers a 24-hour budget and premier airport taxi service to and from KLIA. You may purchase tickets at the official ticket counter situated just inside the exit doors of the arrival hall. Prices are fixed according to destination. The journey to Kuala Lumpur takes about an hour. The premier service is RM92.40 and the budget service is RM67.00
Getting Around Kuala Lumpur

KL Sentral
The nation's main rail transportation hub for Kuala Lumpur's rail systems include KLIA Ekspress, KLIA Transit, KTM Intercity, KTM Komuter, PUTRA LRT and KL Monorail. KL Sentral is also served by other transportation modes such as city buses, feeder coaches and taxis and is just one-stop away from Kuala Lumpur’s original historic railway station. There are two Light Rail Transit (LRT) lines – the Putra Line and the STAR Line.

Putra LRT
The PUTRA Light Rail Transit (LRT) service offers a direct connection between KL Sentral and the KLCC LRT station, and an air-conditioned pedestrian walkway links directly to the Concourse Level of the Suria KLCC.

STAR LRT
The STAR Line is an elevated, driver-operated rail service. Operating from 06:00 until near midnight, it offers another cheap and convenient means of getting around the city while taking in the sights.

KL Monorail
With a total of 11 fully elevated stations, each between 06:00 to 10:00 metres apart, the KL Monorail service is a cheap, convenient and enjoyable means of sightseeing within the busier parts of the city. The locations of the stations are especially ideal for leisure and shopping. Trains run from 06:00 to 24:00, every 2-5 minutes during peak hours and 5-10 minutes off-peak.

KTM Komuter
The KTM commuter train service has two lines and offers of network of 45 stations linking the city to towns as far as Seremban. Passengers bound for the KLIA can take this electrified train service to the Nilai station and then board a bus from there to the airport. Better still, stop at the KL Sentral station and take the KLIA Ekspress to KLIA.

Taxis
Taxis are a fast, safe and relatively economical way to get around the city, especially if you are a first time visitor. Make sure that the meters are on as soon as you get in and avoid negotiating fares upfront. Taxis flag-off starts from RM3. Surcharges apply after midnight and during heavy rain
